Originally designed to complement the Illinois 2011 summer reading theme, “A Midsummer Knight’s Read,” “Here There Be Dragons!” is still great fun for library programs.
The program focuses on the legend, lore of dragons. But most of all, the magic of dragons and Ron’s two dragon companions! POOF seems to be very, very, VERY protective of his treasure, even to the point of getting a bit steamed up!
And Frank (what she chooses to be called, rather than Smouldering Descendent of the Great Wyrm Dragons) seems to mainly think the magician is funny and spends her time laughing at him – and pestering him with riddles she and POOF selected!
